Somatics describes any practice that uses the mind-body connection to help you survey your internal self. As part of somatic movement practise, we introduce Tai Chi - an ancient physical practise that integrates the mind, body and breath.

Ever seen kungfu fighters or other martial artists practise a slow moving form with deep focus? That is generally

tai chi.

Tai chi is a beautiful internal martial art from China. It involves slow relaxed movements useful in regulating energy or 'chi' within the body. 

Tai chi integrates movement with breath and brings focus of your mind to movement, hence often known as 'Meditation in Motion'.
